What is Java - Java is a high-level, robust, object-oriented, and secure programming language.

Java was developed by Sun Microsystems (which is now a subsidiary of Oracle) in the year 1995. James Gosling is known as the father of Java. Before Java, its name was Oak. Since Oak was already a registered company, so James Gosling and his team changed the name from Oak to Java.

Platform: Any hardware or software environment in which a program runs, is known as a platform. Since Java has a runtime environment (JRE) and API, it is called a platform.

Java Example
Let's have a quick look at the Java programming example.

Example.java

class Example{
    public static void main(String args[]){
     System.out.println("Hello Java");
    }
}

To compile:
javac Example.java

To execute:
Java Example

Parameters used in First Java Program

Let's see what is the meaning of class, public, static, void, main, String[], System.out.println().

The class keyword is used to declare a class in Java.

The public keyword is an access modifier that represents visibility. It means it is visible to all.

static is a keyword. If we declare any method as static, it is known as the static method. The core advantage of the static method is that there is no need to create an object to invoke the static method. The main() method is executed by the JVM, so it doesn't require creating an object to invoke the main() method.
So, it saves memory.

void is the return type of the method. It means it doesn't return any value.

main represents the starting point of the program.

String[] args or String args[] is used for command line arguments. We will discuss it in the coming section.

System.out.println() is used to print statements. Here, System is a class, out is an object of the PrintStream class, println() is a method of the PrintStream class.
We will discuss the internal working of system.out.println() statement in the coming section.

Java Applications

There are mainly 4 types of applications that can be created using Java programming:

1) Standalone Application
Standalone applications are also known as desktop applications or window-based applications. These are traditional software that we need to install on every machine. Examples of standalone application are Media player, antivirus, etc. AWT and Swing are used in Java for creating standalone applications.

2) Web Application
An application that runs on the server side and creates a dynamic page is called a web application. Currently, Servlet, JSP, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, etc. technologies are used for creating web applications in Java.

3) Enterprise Application
An application that is distributed in nature, such as banking application, etc. is called an enterprise application. It has advantages like high-level security, load balancing, and clustering. In Java, EJB is used for creating enterprise applications.

4) Mobile Application
An application that is created for mobile devices is called a mobile application. Currently, Android and Java ME are used for creating mobile applications.

Java Platforms: There are 4 platforms or editions of Java:

1) Java SE (Java Standard Edition)
It is a Java programming platform. It includes Java programming APIs such as java.lang, java.io, java.net, java.util, java.sql, java. math etc. It includes core
topics like OOPs, String, Regex, Exception, Inner classes, Multithreading, I/O Stream, Networking, AWT, Swing, Reflection, Collection, etc.

2) Java EE (Java Enterprise Edition)
It is an enterprise platform that is mainly used to develop web and enterprise applications. It is built on top of the Java SE platform. It includes topics like Servlet, JSP, Web Services, EJB, JPA, etc.

3) Java ME (Java Micro Edition)
It is a micro platform that is dedicated to mobile applications.

4) JavaFX
It is used to develop rich internet applications. It uses a lightweight user interface API.

Role of History in tourism Industry

Generally history is offered as a product in tourism. History figures predominantly in promotional literature. Many destinations have always been promoted through their histrocity like Jaipur , Pink city , City of palaces , Fatehpur Sikri etc.

Similarly in travel writing history is a popular theme to write upon and it can be history of many things- destination, fort, palace, art and crafts ,people , airline etc. But history plays an important role in the area of Indian tourism as India is primarily a cultural destination in the International tourism. Not only in the International tourism but in domestic tourism also history and its by products remain prime attractions.

People often plan their trend to have a feel of their cultural heritage along with several other interests. So tourism is the most important  area today where history seems to become operative as an attraction , the pull factor or product for the consumption of tourists.

As a tourism product ,it figures in the
-         Promotional literature
-         Travel and tourism writing
-         Descriptions and interpretations provided by guides and escorts.

Offering historical destinations and museums as travel packages has been an old trade with tourism industry. With the growth of special interest tourism the relevance of history has further increased. In many cases fairs and festivals have also emerged as strong tourist attractions because they provide a good example of continuity and change.

The age old rituals ,traditions and customs are located in modern ambience in these fairs and festivals. History also figures in the shopping and entertainment because many tourists want to know the history of designs and styles etc. of jewellery and craft items. Thus history is very important for Indian tourism .

Qualities of a travel writer

1.      The writer should not be prejudiced. One should have an open mind while approaching the
subject. Even if there are any preconceived ideas that have to be tested on the basis of ground realities.

2.      A certain amount of preparatory effort is a must for any write up like reading about the place or theme to be covered. Familiarizing oneself with history, geography , culture is another exercise in this regard.

3.     Constant updating of knowledge and information is a must for a writer. Providing outdated information in a write up would not help anyone. At times the writer has to be a researcher also.

4.     Facts have to be vetted.

5.     Not everyone can write on everything. Hence one should attempt to discover ones own skills and interests keeping in view the limitations and abilities. The personal style of writing also has to be taken account of.

6.     Collated information gathered from various sources forms the basis of many write ups. It is always better for the writer to record personal experiences and assessment.

7.     Since visuals supplement the richness of a write up meaningful photographs and illustrations should be there. It is good for a writer to develop the skill of photography or else utilize the services of a professional.

Various   services   required by Tourists

1.     Eating joints  and bars: -  Different types of eating joints cater to the tourists. These range from restaurants and tea stalls to Dhabas and fast food counters. Local cuisine is generally  popular with the tourists because they prefer to eat the local food of the particular destination. Thus one should not just initiate western foods or joints but also give due importance to local goods and customs related to it.

2.     Entertainment  and recreation: - Entertainment is an essential component in tourism. On an average foreign tourists in India spend about 10% of their total expenditure on entertainment. The tourists are provided entertainment through various means specially at night or in the evening. This may include dance, theater , movies, theme dinner and musical evening etc. Similarly many hotels organize musical nights or dance performances during the tourist season. Another recent development is the organizing of short duration entertainment festivals by some State tourism departments like the Qutub festival in Delhi or Taj festival at Agra.

3.     Communication: - As tourists are away from their homes and work environment so they may want to communicate back home with family members or friends etc. Thus they need communication services like post office and public call booths . In recent years the number of STD / ISD booths have gone up to take care of such demands.

4.     Book shops and libraries: - Tourists want to read books during the long journey or just to relax themselves. That is the reason we see various book stalls at airports , railway platforms and bus stands.

5.     Photography: - One of the most popular services at destination is that of photographers. Tourists not only like to be photographed in the surroundings but also in the costume and attire of the region they visit. In almost all the hill stations we come across photographers with local dresses and tourists generally change into that attire and for a snap.

Well, often, when I ask my students, " What is Success to you? " . The usual answer is ," Mam, Lot of money, good life, good lifestyle, Owning a Mercedes Benz, Big House and the list is on and on....Really?  How do you define good life? And to my surprise, they don't even know the meaning of happiness!! the difference between pleasure and happiness. May I ask you," Do you know? Is it so difficult to be happy? Actually, it's very simple. We are so lost in our own world's, the so called race of life. when actually, life has never been a race. Like the different fingers in our hands, each one of us are unique in ourselves and have their own journey!!  " A self satisfied life is much better than a successful life because success is measured by others , but satisfaction is measured by your soul. A successful person may or may not be happy but a happy person will always be successful and satisfied. Life has a different exam for everyone which cannot be copied .To me, Success is ," To aim to become a better version of myself  each day, on the path of my journey, following my passions, soul mission and convictions!! "

So, again here, at an event organized by an International NGO, Where I had given a session on Interview skills to about 150 girls Alumini students from different schools and colleges, one student defined success as Lot of money!! So, to say,, All of us are Energies and even Money is also an Energy , which is meant to flow.

Like always, it is a beautiful feeling, when some of the students came to me after the session and shared that, Mam, I was so nervous before my Mock Interview with you but now I feel much better and so confident, I have learnt a lot from you today. Thank you so much, Mam!!" Now, this feeling of peace and happiness where I am able to make a positive change in someone's life, That's real happiness, and the purpose of my life. The mission of my life. What you leave behind is how many faces smile when they hear your name and remember you , Your words , your deeds is what matters ultimately. Be a good human being and Be happy always!!

Keep reading for more!! Do share your thoughts as well, I would love to read.

Stay safe, Stay blessed and stay happy always!!

Some of my Experiences and Learnings!!

Well, I just love this festival because so much of lights around, killing the darkness, light reaches everywhere, as if Universe is showering it's  blessings on all of us. After 2 long years of waiting, this Diwali had a very mixed feeling, as some of my friends had lost their closed ones unfortunately, so they could not celebrate and some others celebrated very well with a lot of happiness and smile on their face. As if life was slowly finally coming back to normal like old times. It was so good and beautiful to see light everywhere around in a series like always. As there is light after the tunnel and the tunnel was finally over .

An old friend of mine visited my place, after long 5 years and we cherished childhood memories and created some more beautiful ones. Good to feel that some things don't change and should not change. An old shopkeeper near my place, I used to visit often to buy some stuff, he was still there selling similar stuff. And he didn't forget me and recognized me, asking if I am fine and all well.

Same time, all of us light Diyas in the evening, so we see series of light everywhere killing the darkness. But what about the darkness in our hearts? Have we ever thought about it? What do we learn from Diwali?

Here are some of my learnings-

* Liberate ourselves from all the negative memories of the past.
* Forgiving everybody who has hurt us in any form and fill our hearts with love and peace.
* Kindness- A small act of polite words, kindness, humanity can go a long way. It might just change some one's life
* Happiness- Happiness within ourselves and spreading it too.
* Unity in diversity.
* Liberating ourselves from all the negative feelings in our hearts like Ego, Jealousy and fill our hearts with lots of positivity, hope and faith.

Let's ignite that light within us and keep it alive always!!

Hope all of you had a great Diwali full of beautiful memories like me. Do share your experiences and learnings with me, I would love to read.

Keep reading for more!!

Stay safe, stay blessed and stay happy always!!

There are certain assumptions surrounding makeup being tested on animals. Most of us think it?s nothing major and doesn?t really believe that it could amount to cruelty. So if you?re thinking that make up testing on animals is simply a monkey get its nails done or squirrels enjoying a sauna, you must know that the reality is actually quite grim and dark!

Animals that are deployed for testing are kept in complete isolation. They are forced to live a bleak life just for the sake of these tests which further add to their suffering. They are forcefully fed with the unrealistic proportions of products only for the purpose of observation by the scientists who are looking for the signs and symptoms of birth defects, cancers, and some other health issues. Their eyes are dilated with drugs and their skin is shaved and rubbed with the product to see whether they face any irritation or itching. To top it all, many times the poor animals are forced to take lethal dosages of chemicals to see what will kill them! This inhuman practice is prevalent across the makeup industry and many top brands are involved too.

The cosmetic industry is largely unregulated and thrives on the promise of making us look more. But the fact remains that in the absence of any concrete regulation and laws against animal testing, this is dependent almost entirely on the discretion of makeup companies who don?t really care about the cruelty factor. The animal testing methodology is absolutely cruel and archaic and simply not necessary when it comes to producing quality makeup products.

With the changing times there have been some positive drift against animal testing too. However, this is just the beginning as we need to go a long mile from here. Many countries like the U.S, UK, Australia, India, New Zealand and many more have come forward to stop this animal cruelty. There are many upcoming brands who are organic, pure, and made without performing any tests on animals whatsoever.

One such brand is MS Glamour that uses natural and organic ingredients that pose no threat to the planet or living beings. It aims to empowering and educating the consumers so that they can adapt to informed choices. We always believe in making people aware about what goes behind the scenes in make-up industry. We even make them clear on why are we always aiming at producing cruelty free make-up.

Now let?s discuss about the good news that has given some relief in the case of animal cruelty. Countries like US, India, Australia, Norway, New Zealand, Israel, Switzerland, U.K and Turkey and some other countries are also favouring a new law that talks of banning the testing conducted on innocent animals in Cosmetics industry.

This is a good beginning, but we still have a lot to cover in terms of collective thinking and empathy that we hold towards innocent animals. In China importers are still forced to test their cosmetic products on animals if they really want their supplies to stand in the Chinese market.

There are many organizations working for animal welfare that have statistics and records of animal cruelty caused by the cosmetic industry. Organizations like Mintel and PETA have estimated that 300,000 animals are used in cosmetics tests each year in China alone, with the Humane Society International estimating the death of 50,000 to 120,000 rabbits yearly over the past decade owing to cosmetic product testing.

While the above data is distressing but we do have some good news! In the month of July this year, China?s State Council announced that beginning January 1st, 2021, imported ?ordinary? cosmetics, such as shampoo, perfume, and mascara, may no longer require eye and skin irritation animal tests. A significant win for the animals and animal right activists, this regulation will surely pave the way for more concrete laws and lead to more concrete and positive changes in the right direction.

Make-up is a joy for the applicator, let?s make it free from cruelty too! Enjoy cruelty free make-up by MS Glamour!

Well !! Well !! Well !! Festival time and I just love festivals so much. I am sure, you all,  also do love them, as I do. It brings so much positivity, brightness, bonds and what not in our lives, the list is endless. And, this time was more special as it has come after a long wait of 2 years, it felt soooo nice to see old days back- Pandaals, Jhulaas, Mela, sweets, different dishes, all of it which we have grown with it. So, let me share some of my experiences and some beautiful memories, I had this time with you.

I was looking at all the stalls at one of the Pandaals , I visited,  I saw a stall by the name of Bhaalo bytes, seemed to me , as the stall must be selling some different Bengali dishes. Though, I didn't know and understand all of it but it again reminded me of beautiful memories, I had with my old Bengali best friend. He often used to bring home made Bengali dishes for me like paatty sapto, puran poli, and I used to love it so much. I immediately asked Uncle at the stall," Do you have Paaatty sapto? I would love to have it...My friend used to bring it for me , but now for last 5 years he is in the sky, though he still walks with me. ". He said," hmm ok!! Sorry to know this.... We don't have Paaatty sapto here as it takes a lot of time to make it but we do have it in our regular shop nearby".

I said," hmm ok !! I will surely come someday soon to have it. " Then he offered me some of his dishes like Malai Chamcham, Maalpua. I got some packed but to my surprise, he didn't charge me for the dishes he offered me to taste.  Then he said, " you can put your mobile number in that box, we will wats app our special dish for the day, Just one disturbance daily with a smile

🙂". Though, usually shopkeepers do ask their  customers to share their number with them but the way he asked, made me smile too. As I do avoid sharing my number like this and getting such msgs daily, his warm and heartfelt way was so different that we didnt mind. You know some experiences are such that they do make a nice mark in your heart. In todays time, when everything is so practical, calculative,  sales oriented, business oriented or too mechanical or with a motive only, I was really happy to see that somewhere, we still have that personal touch, that human touch, that generosity, that humbleness, that hospitality, alive.. If you ask me, I still love having food on that 'kele ka patta' . I really feel such festivity does connect us more and develop better human bonds which we do forget in our daily fast lives.
So, to say, have you ever observed, when we dance somewhere in a function , gathering or a party, we are so engrossed in dancing that we are even dancing with some strangers, and you never know when those strangers become your friends. If we open our hearts a little more often and keep that playful and happy child alive in us, we can see life with sparkling shining eyes. And the world around looks more beautiful!!

Do you also have any such experience where you found that heartfelt human touch or any stranger became your friend enjoying together or any such beautiful memory? Do share with me, I would love to read.

Keep reading for more!!

Stay safe, stay blessed and stay happy always!!

Natural and Organic- beauty products are the rage nowadays. Various new brands are coming up claiming that their product range is free of any harmful chemicals. These brands go the extra mile to send the right message across to the target audience and get social media and beauty influences to endorse their brands and claims. Many existing brands are coming up with new product lines and sub-brands to capitalize on this trend of ?organic?, ?botanical? and ?herbal?.

5 reasons why natural beauty products are worth the cost!

While the costs might lead you to think that these organic products are way out of your league, it is quite natural to wonder why such organic products are often expensive and why the cost is totally worth it.

1) Shelf Life

The first and foremost reason is shelf life. Natural beauty brands are known for carefully creating their products with highly concentrated and supreme quality ingredients. Conventional brands and products have a longer shelf life because of the presence of preservatives and chemicals in them.

2) Formulation

For most of the products you see in beauty stores, the foremost ingredient is water or aqua. Most of the products have water as the major ingredient, whether it is mentioned as it is or hidden under aloe Vera or any other herbal infusions. Typically, beauty products contain emulsifiers, fragrances, preservatives, textures, etc. leaving a small margin for the real natural oils which is the actual nutritive ingredient for the skin. Organic products have higher concentrations of pure ingredients which are carefully mixed and packed to give you the desired results.

3) Natural Ingredients

The essence of pure and natural ingredients is difficult to extract and takes a significant amount of effort to acquire which makes these products expensive. But given the fact that the pure extracts are used in such products and organic farmers spend extra money and effort in the cultivation of such ingredients, the costs seem logical enough.

4) Manufacturing Processes

Not many of us know that various organic product lines are made in small batches which drives up the end cost for the customer. Established brands produce their products in large batches at a mass scale which keeps the costs down.

When we buy organic and pure products, we experience a sense of goodness that our purchases are healthy and ultimately good for the planet. As we make healthy living a priority, we figure out ways to stay true to it and don?t mind paying a little extra for pure organic products.

5) No Side Effects

Parabens are a common ingredient across many health and beauty products. They have preservatives that extend the shelf life of products, even though they are synthetic and mimic your body's natural hormones. Such artificial ingredients can preserve the product but may cause harsh reactions. Organic products make use of natural preservatives that are gentle on the skin and do not affect your body negatively.

While conventional brands may seem cheaper and readily available, organic beauty essentials are sustainable and healthier to use regularly. MS Glamour is a brand that is completely organic and contains no harmful ingredients in its makeup range. Visit our product selection to know more.

What the next moment will bring to us, nobody knows and that's life!! Count your blessings, cherish what you have  and give gratitude!!

Well, think of it, time is same in the clock, but different for each one of us and that's how life is!! This reminds me of a student  who was recently sharing his childhood days with us in the class. He is a blessed child and why I say this, when he narrated his whole story with us. Actually, when he was born, he was so weak, as he was a pre-  mature child, and he could survive after a lot of struggle and till date he takes regular medications as nobody knows when he might get a fit and faint. And to add more here, and to everybody's surprise, he was so cool about it when he was sharing this with everybody with so much humor. He has been a very naughty child. At the age of only, 18years, he was so brave and courageous.  Laughingly, and jokingly, he said in the class, " guys , main yahan abhi next moment faint ho jaun, toh mujhe utha lena pls!!" Everyone  laughed too. He is a very brilliant student. And, yes, this shows that if you are mentally and emotionally strong, you can do anything, it's all in the mind, we want to see glass half full or half empty!! And the learning for all of us from him, is, we just cant control what life throws on us, but it's really upto us, whether we respond to it with a smile or tears in our eyes !! And if we don't give up and come out of that pain, we are definite stronger!!

Watch "Breast Cancer Patient Dances Her Way to the Operating Room" on YouTube

Some people really know how to live their life to the fullest and become inspiration for many. They just have this zjndadili in them which just cant be explained in words, like this lady in the video doesn't know whether she will survive or not, she is not even thinking of the pain, she is just cherishing each moment of her life!!  Actually, to add here, I was thinking and wishing, what if really, some day our hospitals get so lively, I am sure, many patients will get well soon if the environment becomes such, playing music there!!  Laughter and joyous therapies.

Sach mein, kuch log jeena sikha jaate hain!! They just flow with life with a smile on their face!!

Well, Covid!! Covid!! Covid !!  Every now and then we hear this word, in conversation with someone or around us or in news....Ohhhhh God!! Sometimes you really want to take a deep breath and want  to say," Enough now pls leave us and go away. We really want to have our normal lives back!! "..
I have 15 mins conversation with my mom on Covid updates daily at night when we talk and it has become a ritual actually. All of our lives have  become so uncertain and unpredictable these days,  when we feel that ...ohhhh...nice, it has started moving after a long hault, then suddenly lockdowns, one after the other. Life has got so imbalanced but to think of it, that's how the nature of life is, uncertainty and change everytime and always. And one major change - Work from home!!!

Again, thanks to the technology, when all of us were  zapped because we just could not step out of our homes to the office because of Covid leading to lockdown, the only solution to go on with life and survive was work from home. And technology really helped us a lot in this major change and transformation in our lives. Well, now in 2 years, all of us have got so used to this , so called, ^  new work from home culture".  What's more to this is, many companies have starred setting up their offices at home saving the huge cost of infrastructure and the travelling cost of all the employees and saving the time too. The flexibility of work from home for employees and the companies has really made life so much better for everyone, where both also have more choice these days of choosing various options like, now many people from pan India can apply for the same role in different companies vis a vis companies also have more choice of employees pan india.

But, yet, not to ignore the challenges  as increasing physical and mental health Issues due to constant working on phone and laptop for longer hours and no social life. You are less connected to the nature and hardly any exercise regime and discipline.

And what's more is, it's so difficult to monitor the employees from home which is really a huge challenge for a company these days , which are still struggling to find a mechanism to monitor and motivate their employees working from home.

To share my experience here, one of my clients faced a real challenge with its employee who was not sincere at all , not working at all, and despite of so many efforts and time invested, in her,,they had to lay her off finally, which was still a tough decision for the company but it was becoming a liability.

A recent report has shown , work from home and online is the future, where you see , not even offices but the whole education system had to be shifted online.

But I really feel, life should always be a balance. Even if we are moving towards virtual world, but we just cant ignore the importance of real world, so to say, may be, we should have 3 days office and 3 days work from home. The office environment  and discipline is also important at the same time.

What do you think? Do you agree with me? Type yes, if you do.
And do share your thoughts on the transformation all of us are going through in the comment section below.

I will share more of my thoughts and experiences on this in my next article.

Keep reading for more.

Stay safe, stay blessed and stay happy always!!

Valentine's Day!! Lovers Day!!
Rise in Love, Not fall in Love!!
LOVE in the time of COVID as  LOVID!!

Well, I happened to speak to one of my students today and she excitingly asked me, Mam," What did you do today? " I said,," I was working as usual, Why? What is so special about today? You seem to be so happy!!"
She replied," Arey, its Valentines day today!! You dont remember?

I said," so, For lovers, each day, each moment is special and valentine's day and for true friends, each day and each moment is friendship day!!"" I believe

She said," Ok !! Ok!! It was my first special valentine's day today. I am very happy.
I said," Good to know!! I am very happy for you!!
Actually,  she had met her special friend last year, accidentally or actually destined , on a metro station. The boy has been born in an orphan and works in army. A very cute love story and I hope and wish it lasts forever. Whenever I see such rare love stories in reality, I feel so happy that love is still alive.
After I finished the call with her, her conversation reminded me of another student who was also eagerly waiting for today, till 2 months back but who knew  that something like this will happen with her. She is a child being raised by a single parent and had lost her father long back in her childhood days. She is 22 years now having immense trust and only 2 important people in her life - one as her mother and another one as her fiance, who she has been in a loving relationship for last 5 years. Sadly, 2 months back, she got to know that he has been cheating on her. She was shattered, and was hospitalized.  The doctor said, that she has a lot of stress and its first stage of severe depression as anxiety attack. Nobody in her family knew about it, her mother was wondering, what happened to her suddenly? What stress she has?

She confided in me, cried a lot in front of me, and kept on saying again and again,," it's all my fault ,Mam, I should not have trusted him so much. It's all my fault. I am also afraid as he is threatening me as nobody knows in my family. I am from a small town and everybody will blame me  for all this.

Is it really her fault? Why does a girl has to carry all the burden of guilt and moral responsibility of everything on her shoulders all the time? What conditioning and programming our society gives to girls? I came out of this conditioning long back and I could relate so well with her. And is this really love? What kind of love is this? Real love is sacred!! Its sacrifice!!  It uplifts you, it never gets you down, it always builds you, it changes you and your life, makes you a much better person!! Love without respect and trust is nothing.

If we look at the history, love is Radha, Love is Meera!! There was a time when people like laila Majnu, Sheerii farhaad sacrificed their lives for the sake of each others happiness.

Another young boy, 28 years old in love with 10 years older woman to him. I had counselled him as he was in depression because this woman refused to marry him because of the age gap after the relationship of 3 years. She felt and realised that he will regret his decision later in life as she will grow old faster than him and also, she wont be able to bear children and give him a normal family.

Set the bird of love free!! If it comes back to you, it's yours!! If it doesnt, it was never yours!!

True love chooses very few and is destined!! It's a deep heart and soul connection!!

We still see some people as examples of true love in our life-  the beloved of late Captain Mr Vikram Batra who died fighting on the front, ( movie - Shershah) has not married to anyone else. That's her intensity,  sanctity and commitment of love!! Love is immortal

Capt. Vikram Batra Girlfriend Dimple Cheema: Know the real love story of ?Shershah?, played by Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani

Lataji could not marry the only  love of her life and was unmarried whole life!!

Mohabbat pehli ya dusri nahi hoti, ya toh adhoori hoti hai ya aakhiri hoti hai, par sachchi zindgi mein sirf ek baar hoti hai, kismat se hoti hai, zindgi badal deti hai, mil jaaye tab bhi aur na mile tab bhi!!

To all the youth of today and future generation, I just want to say that its important to love yourself first,  find happiness within yourself first, find fulfillment within yourself first, Become love first!! Then only you can spread love and make others happy!! True love is unconditional,  selfless and a responsibility!! It finds you when and if its destined for you and when you are ready for it , till then walk alone and build yourself ,than getting into a wrong relationship or a wrong person who doesnt deserve you or not meant for you!! What's meant for you, will come to you, when the time will come!!

Be good to your skin.

Our skin is the largest and sensitive organ on your body, made up of several different layers.
Stratum corneum: The Outer Layer
The stratum corneum contains dead skin.  The skin experiences a natural cycle every 30 days . In this, the upper layer of your skin (epidermis) sheds, generating  new skin from the middle layer of your skin (dermis). It is like a process where old skin removes and new skin forms. It is very important and easy to remove the outer layer of dead skin manually too. The process of removing dead skin cells is called Exfoliation. Using facial scrubs and other home made products, will remove or thin this layer. Removal of dead skin cells helps to generate good new skin and removal of Tan.
There are two ways for self-exfoliation ? Manual  and chemical method, which should be followed as per the skin type. Mechanical exfoliation uses a tool, such as a brush or sponge, or a scrub to physically remove dead skin cells. Chemical exfoliation uses chemicals, such as alpha and beta hydroxy acids, to gently dissolve dead skin cells.
There are five major skin types:
  • Dry. Dry skin need to be moisturized regularly.  To know if the skin is dry, one probably notice that skin gets even dryer in cold, dry weather.
  • Combination. Generally people have Dry ? Oily skin. It has the symptoms of Dry and Cold skin.
  • Oily. This skin type has excess sebum, the natural oils produced by the sebaceous glands underneath the  pores. This often leads to clogged pores and acne.
  • Sensitive. Sensitive skin is very prone to irritation by fragrances, chemicals, and other synthetic materials. One can have sensitive skin which is dry, oily, or combination.
Exfoliate can very well be done at home. There is lot of products which helps to exfoliate the Skin. The best ones are baking soda, finely ground sugar, coffee grounds, finely ground almonds, oatmeal, finely ground sea salt, cinnamon etc

Moreover skin glow depends on what we eat, drink, how much we are exposed to sun, pollution, dirt, how are we taking care of it. Our skin changes throughout the year, just like the seasons. So what works for us in the summer, often isn?t going to be the best remedy for the winter. One can hydtare te skin in two ways. One is  drinking enough water, which will  likely affect the appearance of your skin. In fact, one 2015 study found a strong link between drinking enough water and having healthy skin. Drinking plenty of water will help boost hydration from below skin?s surface.
And secondly, but very important, One need a more hydrating and intense moisturizer for the winter months, when the cold makes the skin dryer, and a lighter moisturizer for the summer. Ideally, with an SPF to protect our skin from the harsh UV rays of the sun.
"Beauty is in the skin! Take care of it, oil it, clean it, scrub it, perfume it, and put on your best clothes, even if there is no special occasion, and you'll feel like a queen."
- Fatima Mernissi.

Saying Goodbye to our nightingale with heavy heart and heartfelt memories today!!

Well, like my usual routine on a Sunday, I I was finishing off some household work and my Radio was on , my lifeline my music and suddenly, I hear the news - the RJ saying that our nightingale of Our country Lata Mangeshkar  has left us.  .For a moment, I could not believe it, like really, I thought, may be it's a prank or something,  I just stopped for a while, checked my phone, you tube news  and then suddenly radio started playing all the songs sung by her....I waa like .how....again thanks to corona!! I took a deep breath and was full of  tears and enough memories, many might not understand. I had a very silent, unspoken connection with her. I grew up singing many of her songs, some of them even on stage in my school and college days. She was an inspiration for me and this passion of money had always kept me going in all my tough days, high and lows of life. The artist in me always kept me alive.

Some of my favourite songs sing by her,  which I had sung on stage were " Aye mere watan ke logo, tum khoob laga lo naara ....., Aye malika tere banded hum....beautiful prayer, Naam ghum jaayega, meri awaaz hi meri pehchaan hai......, raina berti jaaye, shyaam na aaye...,  Satyam, Shivam , Sundaram.....lag jaa gale, ki fir yeh hansen raat ho na ho..........list is ongoing and endless!!"
Sach mein.....meri awaaz hi meri pehchaan hai!!!!

The legends are just born and she waa a legend. You know, it was always said, that at her age, she can still sing so well, after her death, the scientists would like to do a research on her throat to find out the reason. Oh God!! May her soul rest in peace pls !! such a beautiful voice she was, real nightingale of India, A huge loss to the society!!

To think of it, ek waqt har kisi ke liye kitna alag hota hai na...jahan el waqt hum apne ghar mein hote hain, wahin, usi waqt, kahin koi aur kisi mushkil se jhooth raha hota...m..kuch log itne special hote hain ki jaane ke baad bhi bahut si yaadein chod jaate hain, dil mein rehte hain!!

She will always be in my heart as one special part of my life, still inspiring me in my passion for singing. Her songs always touched my heart, her voice always touched my heart and I am sure, many of you as well.

Leaving you here for now with many heartfelt memories and heavy heart today!!

Keep reading for more!!

My best wishes for all of you always!!

Stay safe, stay blessed!!

Maintaining a makeup routine or a consistent flavour of look is no piece of cake. We hear all your concerns with makeup routines, and we are here to help you improve them in simple, convenient and chic ways. Makeup can be very simple and easy to get used to. Here is a breakdown of all the routine into small steps to help you.

Makeup Products

  1. Hydrate Your Face
The beginning of every makeup routine is to start it with a completely clean face. Wash your face gently with warm water and soap. Use a washcloth to dab the water slowly. In fact make sure your face is clean at the end of your day, too. Otherwise, it can clog your pores and give you acne.

  1. Moisturize
In our daily lives, we are exposed to a number of things in the environment which are harmful for our skin. If you are spending your entire day under the sun, remember to apply a sunscreen that suits your skin type the best. If your skin gets dry easily, make sure to massage in some moisturizer before your makeup.

  1. Use a Makeup Primer
Out of most makeup products, the makeup face primer is one of the most important products for your makeup routine. It helps to keep your makeup on more smoothly, and makes it last longer. Work the primer into your skin, especially where you are going to apply the makeup on.

  1. Apply Foundation
Foundations are available for an entire range of skin types. Be sure that the makeup products you use suit your skin type. Especially your foundation, because it is the base for all of your makeup. Smoothen a thin and even layer of foundation, that blends with the rest of your skin. You might choose to use it either in its solid stick form or its liquid form.

  1. Add Some Concealer
If you find uneven areas near your eyes or nose that show even through your foundation, you might want to even them out with a gentle concealer to seal your subtle look.

  1. Brush With Some Powder
Whenever you are finished with your foundation and base for your makeup, make sure you brush on some powder over it. This will help your makeup set nicely, and will let your makeup last longer. Make sure to brush all the parts of your face with some translucent powder.
  1. Add a Little Color!
You can apply some fun makeup products to enhance your look. Blush and bronzer are both pigmented powders that will add some color to your yet monochromatic look. A blush can add a healthy and flushed look to your cheeks. And a bronzer can give your face a sun-kissed appearance. Remember to use a rounded makeup brush to dust both into your skin. You might choose to use neutral shades of both if you want a simple everyday look.

  1. Enhance Your Eyes With an Eyeshadow
Before applying your preferred eye colors, apply some eye primer to ready a base. You might use neutral colors for a natural look, preferably ones closer to your skin tone. You can use an eyeshadow palette full of olives, peaches, tans and so on. You can even go for a simple smoky look with greys and blacks. And of course, you can use some light colors to make it interesting, and choose ones that compliment your skin tone.

  1. Finish Your Eye Look
Even though your eyes are mostly complete because of the eyeshadow, you should finish the look. Use makeup products such as eyeliner and kohl to pop your eyes. You can play around with this to enhance your beautiful eyes out. You can even curl your eyelashes and wing some mascara if you want! If you apply just these without the eyeshadow, it can make for a perfect simple everyday makeup routine.

  1. Apply Lipstick or Lip Gloss
Your makeup is incomplete without a tint on your lips. You might choose to wear natural looking lip colors or go for colors that compliment your skin tone. Some light pinks and neutral browns will give an everyday chic look. It's up to you!

This was a simple makeup routine you might follow for an everyday look, but it's all up to you how you like your makeup. Have fun!
