Education is one of the main components for an
individual?s triumph. It has the talent to form one?s life in the right path.
Education is a method of imparting or acquiring awareness, developing the
powers of logic and judgment. It prepares oneself or others academically for
mature life. It improves not only the personal life of the people but also
their society. Thus, one cannot overlook the importance of Education in life
and society. Today I am going to share
my knowledge with students. They can enhance their knowledge and skill for
English Exam or any competition
Significance of Education
The
significance of education in life is massive. It facilitates excellence
learning to people throughout their life. It inculcates knowledge, idea talent and
moral habits. It improves the way of living and raises the social and economic status
of individuals. Education makes life better and peaceful. It transforms the behavior
of persons and makes them feel secure
Well
said by Nelson Mandela, ?Education is the
most powerful weapon to change the world?.
To elaborate, it is the establishment of the people which brings economic
wealth, social wealth and political stability. It gives supremacy to community
to put their views and showcase their real prospective. It strengthens democratic
system by providing society with the tools to participate in the governance
process. It acts as an integrative force to foster social cohesion and national
identity.
In
India, education is a constitutional right of every citizen. So, people of any
age group, religion, caste, creed and region are free to obtain education. An
educated human being is get respect and appreciation everywhere. Each kid
dreams to become a doctor, lawyer, engineer, actor, sportsperson, etc. These
dreams can come true through education. So, investment in learning gives the
best return. Well knowledgeable people have more opportunities to get an enhanced
job which makes them feel satisfied.
In
schools, education is divided into different levels, i.e., Preschool, Primary, Secondary
and Senior Secondary. School education comprises established learning which
provides students with academic knowledge. However, now various efforts are
being made to start inbuilt application-based learning by adding numerous
experiments, practical and additional activities in the school curriculum.
Students learn to read, write and signify their viewpoints in front of others.
Also, in this period of digital Education, any person can simply contact the
information online at their fingertips. They can learn new skills and improve
their knowledge.
By
now, you all should have understood how essential education is. Regrettably a
number of children still do not have access to education. The Government has
thereby taken scheme to improve education quality and made it available to
everyone, particularly the deprived citizens.
The Government passed the Right to
Education Act 2009 (RTE Act 2009) on 4 August 2009. This
Act came into effect on 1 April 2010, following which education has become the
fundamental right of each kid in India. It provides free and compulsory
elementary education to children of the age group of 6-14 years, in a neighborhood
school within 1 km, upto Class 8 in India. On similar lines, there are other
schemes launched by the government such as
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Mid-Day
Meal, Adult Education and Skill Development Scheme, National Means cum Merit
Scholarship Scheme, National Program for Education of Girls at Elementary
Education, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Scheme for Infrastructure Development
in Minority Institutions, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, etc.
For
our nation?s growth, we need a cultured population, equipped with the relevant information,
approach and skills.
