No matter how far away you are from your refinement as a newcomer cosmologist, there is always one great moment we can all return to. That would be that perfect first moment when we went out where you could clearly see the universe and take the sky at night. For people living in cities, this is an important manifestation as if we have found outsiders living among us. Most of us have no idea how great a lighthouse is pointing to a brilliant evening sky when no city lights are interfering with this view.
Certainly we all like the improved understanding of focusing on the sky using light objects with different sizes and power of telescopes. However, I think you can remember at a young age that for the first time you saw a starry sky in the evening with all the amazing heavenly bodies, meters and comets moving with the opening of distant and varied light spots at any given moment.
The best way to experience the miracle of that moment is to leave the world with your own descendants or who have never had this knowledge and be there at that moment when they look up and say that most amazing word is the one that especially summarizes their feelings by seeing that amazing sky. That name means - "Beauty".
Apparently the most outstanding truth about what this boy sees and more often it is difficult for them to get a pledge is a great fear of what is on them and what they are dealing with. The very fact that almost every dab up there in the sky is another star or the supernatural celestial body that is infinitely greater than the Earth itself, not twice or many times but in hundreds and thousands of parts, it would be a brain blowing I thought of children. Young people are having a hard time figuring out the size of the world itself, much less with an excellent expansion as a space.
However, in the case of astronomical observations, we are progressing toward higher and higher levels of what we see in the night sky. Some surprising facts about what teens take for granted can add to the tumors they have now as they look up. Similar facts?
* Our solar system is ideally suited to the Milky Way galaxy, which has 100 billion or more stars. Show them that one hundred billion is 100,000,000,000 and you will look at a few jaws down without hesitation.
* Smooth was just one of a large number of universities and each one contained billions of stars. Indeed, the Milky Way is one of the smallest countries in the world.
* If you need to drive across the Milky Way, it could take you 100,000 years. However, you cannot come driving as fast as you can. You need to drive five trillion, 800,000,000 miles each year to get that fast.
* Scientists estimate that the Milky Way is 14 billion years old.
These wonderful little facts should find a powerful and enthusiastic discussion about the origin of the universe and the possibility of room movement or, if possible, life on different planets. Would you irritate children to see that if each star in the Milky Way were to hold nine planets and if by chance one of them could exist as a planet, how much more likely would life be in one of them? I think you will see real power when they try to use those numbers.
Such conversations can be fun, refreshing, and loaded with questions. Try not to rush until you think about closing their minds as this is an introduction to the deepest love of the universe they are experiencing. And, if you were there for the first moment when they saw that evening sky, you would also feel your own second different when you were a child. In addition, it can put a completely different rage about cosmology in you too.
