Dr.Shailendra Rathore

Born in the year 1963 in a traditional Rajput family, Dr. Rathore grew up in Balaghat, a small and peaceful town in Central India, where his early education took place. After having spent his childhood and adolescence on the Sandy banks of Wainganga River, he went to Govt. Engineering College, Jabalpur. He completed his Master's Degree from Govt. Engineering College, Raipur in 1992. He was only 30 years old when he wrote his first National Award Winning paper. He has since written a couple of books and over hundred research papers. In 2002, he was awarded Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. Being an active member of several professional bodies and an avid student of timely issues, he eventually rose to the level of Vice Chancellor. More info: I have a vast experience of 36+ years in education field in various positions. I completed my graduation in the year 1984 and subsequently acquired my Ph.D. in the year 2002. I have also served as the Principal of MIET, Gondia (M.S.) for more than 10 years. I am on the Advisory Board of Sardar Patel University, Balaghat (M.P.) and served as VC of the same for a brief period of time. Presently I am working as the Principal of TGPCET, Nagpur (M.S.). I have written 100+ research papers, got a patent, supervised many Ph.D./PG dissertations, written couple of books, organised many National/International Conferences, attended many STTPs, organized big events, received awards, managed grants, and travelled abroad. I also have the memberships of many professional bodies.
